The Opportunity
The challenge was to design a chair that could carry an inviting presence in a space while still offering proper support, something that encourages people to sit and stay, without sacrificing posture or comfort.
The Solution
A carefully shaped timber frame provides structure and warmth, while the raw African riempie net introduces softness and subtle give. This balance between solid and flexible materials allows the chair to remain open and approachable, without compromising on how it feels to sit in.
